Swiss chard & Garlic soup: a helthy warm Apulian soup recipe

This soup is lite and tasty at the same time  and really helthy.

And you will love it in any season!

Here’s what you need: 300 grams of swiss chard , 1 clove of garlic, salt to taste , 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

First of all, well wash the swiss chard, then separate the green part from the white one : for this soup you need only the white part!

Put aside the green part of the leaves because it can be used the same way as you do with the spinach.

Now cut into small pieces of about 1 cm in the white part of the swiss chard .

Finely chop the garlic clove, peeled .
Put them in a pot with a little water , about up to 3 /4 of the vegetables, then add the garlic, salt to taste and the oil tablespoons.

Put on the stove and bring to a light boil.

Cook for about 20 minutes: the swiss chard will be ready when you may easily sting it with a fork.
Double check because the cooking time may vary.
