Bruschetta pizza style: grandpa’ Crostoni
Here’s how to easily and quicky make pizza reusing dry bread!
This fantastic and fragrant bruschetta pizza-packs all the flavors of pizza and it’s really simple
And, as a plus, you can reuse the dry bread.
Here’s what you need: dry bread cut into slices about 1 cm high, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, salt, oregano, , basil, , mozzarella.
First of all dice the cherry tomatoes, put them in a bowl, add salt, stir and let stand for at least 15-20 minutes so that they may loose their water.
Dice the mozzarella well-drained, if you find it, the best is mozzarella for pizza.
Preheat the oven to 170-180 degrees.
Then arrange the slices of bread on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, and sprinkle with a little ‘water released from the tomatoes.
Arrange on each slice pleanti of tomatoes.
Now add the oregano to the mozzarell, stir well and arrange it on the tomato you put on the crostoni.
Finish your crostoni artwork with a generous quantity of oil.
Bake the bread and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Behold, your bruschetta-pizza – Granpa’ crostoni- is ready, fragrant and perfumed like a real pizza but much simpler and faster. You just have to taste it with your family and your friends. And enjoy it!
It is basically cheese and tomato on bread with oregano lol,but it does taste nice….I spread green pesto on the bread with tomato and Mozzy cheese yummy
