First of all, well wash the swiss chard, then separate the green part from the white one : you need only the green part
Finely chop the garlic clove, peeled .
Put the swiss chard and the garlic in a pot with a little water , about up to 3 /4 of the vegetables, add the garlic, salt and oil.
Put on the stove and bring to a light boil, and cook for about 30 minutes.
In the mean time put a little extra virgin oil in a pan, and add the passata.
Once the swiss chard is cooked, drain it well and add it to the passata.
Cook for very few minutes it keeping the fire low, and mixing it.
Then put the swiss chard & passata on a dish, and add the grted smoked chees while is still very warm.
Put a lid on the plate and let it till the cheese starts to melt.
