Pasta with Broccoli
Broccoli is a fantastic vegetable : tasty , healthy and versatile.
This simple recipe belongs to the tradition of a Southern Italian region, Apulia, and my father-in-law taught me .
First thing, wash and coarsely chop the broccoli , removing the stem. Peel and slice the garlic.
Now put in the pot broccoli pieces , garlic and olive oil. Cover in half with water at ambient temperature , and finally add the salt.
Now you just have to cook , before bringing it to a boil and then over low heat until the water has evaporated and the broccoli is almost dissolved .
Now you may cook the pasta, and when is al dente you may mix it with your broccoli.
