Mini Meat Rolls with Parmesan, Arugula and Oregano
This is a dish I saw in a market here in Italy, and I replicated it with a little variation. May be eaten both raw or cooked, and is really yummy.
What you need is:
some very thin meat slices, some slice of parmesan some arugula and a little oregano.
Thirst of all, on a Kitchen cutting board arrange the meat slice side by side.
Then put the parmesan on the meat slices
And in the end a little oregano and pleanty of arugola.
Now roll the meat and the filling tightly.
Cut the roll in slices of about 2 cm high and let them repose in the fridge for at least one hour.
Now you may have them with salt to taste and a little extra virgin oil or, as I like, cook them.
Put the salt in a pan and heat well. Put the rolls and let sear for a couple of minutes on each side. Will be formed with a delicious parmesan crust, and will remain soft and juicy inside.
Serve on a bed of fresh arugula and finish with a little extra virgin oil, a delight! Buon appetito enjoy it!
