Baked Pasta – Ziti with Passata , Mozzarella , Bacon, Oregano and Parmesan

Baked Pasta – Ziti with passata , mozzarella , bacon, oregano and parmesan.This baked pasta is super fast and super easy , and it is delicious hot or cold .
The trick is all the oregano and lots of mozzarella cheese. While cooking, the pasta will absorb the passata becoming tasty and very special.

Here’s what you need:

500 grams of ziti or other pasta like penne or macaroni (pasta cylindrical and perforated ) , 2 large cups of tomato passata , 1 cup of milk , 4 tablespoons of oregano, a large cup of mozzarella for pizza, half a cup of diced bacon, 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil , 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese.

First of all, turn the oven to 180 degrees C ( degrees F) , then cut the mozzarella into cubes, grease a baking sheet with the olive oil and add 3 tablespoons of tomato passata.

Do you have a first row of ziti leaving a little space because cooking it increases in volume.

Then put a little ‘ of mozzarella and a bit ‘ of bacon.
Sprinkle oregano and add plenty of passata.

Continue making two or three layers always alternating  pasta, mozzarella and bacon , oregano and passata.

End with the passata , add the glass of milk , crush well everything so that the pasta is well immersed in the sauce

and finally add 4 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake in oven for 50 minutes. Turn off the oven, remove the aluminum foil and leave in oven another 10 minutes.
